WOODLAND, CA (MPG) - Due to road construction associated with the 2018 Pavement Preservation Project, the following county roads will be closed to through traffic:

  • County Road (CR) 13 from CR 99W to State Route 113; August 20 to September 28
  • CR 14 from CR 85 to CR 87; September 17 to September 21
  • 2nd Street in Yolo from CR 99W to Clay Street; September 24 to September 28

From August 6 to September 28, the following county roads will be open to traffic, but will have lane closures for project construction.  Travelers may experience delays up to 20 minutes in these locations:

  • CR 14 from CR 87 to CR 94
  • CR 85 from State Route 16 to CR 14

Detour signs will direct motorists to alternate routes as shown in the attached map.  Access to properties and businesses along the closed section of the road will be provided at all times.

Over the next two months, this project will provide a rehabilitated road surface for approximately 21 miles of county roads.  Construction costs are approximately $5.4 million and will be funded with gas taxes distributed from the state through the “SB1” Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account and the Highway User Tax Account.  The low bid contractor is Lamon Construction Co., Inc. from Yuba City, California.
