Outstanding Warrant

Thursday, October 29th at 1:30 a.m.

600 West Capitol Ave.

An officer contacted the suspect for a bicycle violation. He gave the officer multiple names. Eventually, the officer confirmed his real name and a records check came back with two warrants. One warrant was from Sacramento County and one warrant was from Santa Clarita. The suspect was arrested and booked.


Outstanding Warrant

Thursday, October 29th at 2:05 p.m.

4225 West Capitol Ave.

The suspect was contacted during a consent stop. He advised he had a warrant out of Ventura County. Dispatch confirmed the warrant and the suspect was able to verify all his ID info. No arrest was made.


Assault by Friend

Wednesday, October 28th at 10:30 p.m.

621 Maple St.

The victim was physically assaulted by a friend and was uncooperative with police.


Stolen Cash

Wednesday, October 28th at 5:00 p.m.

Walmart, 755 Riverpoint Ct.

The victim left his wallet on a counter. The suspect found the wallet, took out $1,000 in cash, and left.


Stolen Tablets

Tuesday, October 27th at 5:00 p.m.

504 Glide Ave.

Three tablets were stolen from a victim’s residence. The victim believed it could have been her daughter’s friend.


Stolen Items

Tuesday, October 27th at 2:30 p.m.

4055 Lake Rd.

The reporting party’s vehicle was broken into. A workbag was stolen, including books, a laptop, and a calculator.


Burglary and Vandalism

Tuesday, October 27th at 3:45 a.m.

3460 Partridge Ave.

Unknown suspect(s) smashed windows, flattened tires, and sprayed an acidic chemical all over a vehicle. Suspect(s) also removed property from inside.


On the Run

Monday, October 26th at 10:19 p.m.

2210 Lake Washington Blvd.

Officers attempted to contact a suspect and gave lawful orders for him to stop. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was detained in a field. Suspect displayed objective signs of intoxication including watery bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, unsteady gait, and a strong odor of alcoholic beverage. Officers determined that the suspect was unable to care for himself and the suspect was placed under arrest and transported and booked into Yolo County Jail.


Threatening Statements

Sunday, October 25th at 10:44 a.m.

2255 Evergreen Ave.

The victim stated that the suspect made threats her to kill her roommate and to burn her house down. The victim believed that the suspect is capable of carrying out the threat and she is in fear for her and her roommate’s safety.


Sneaking into Motel

Sunday, October 25th at 12:15 a.m.

Pick Wick Motel, 1809 West Capitol Ave.

West Sacramento Police Department was called to the above address for the report of a suspect being in a motel room that he had not paid for. When staff asked him to leave, he refused and the police were called. An officer contacted him inside the room and informed him that he needed to leave. He became argumentative and stated that the manger had told him to go to sleep. Management signed a citizen’s arrest for the suspect to be arrested. The suspect was arrested and booked into Yolo County Jail.


Shoplifting

Saturday, October 24th at 3:27 p.m.

Walmart, 755 Riverpoint Ct.

Suspect was apprehended by the Walmart asset protection for shoplifting merchandise from the store. Suspect was cited and released.


Ear Biter

Saturday, October 24th at 11:45 a.m.

510 4th St.

The suspect bit the victim’s ear, leaving no visible injuries. The victim cut her hand pushing the suspect out of her apartment.


Threats with Vehicle and Gun

Friday, October 23rd at 9:00 p.m.

2355 West Capitol Ave.

An officer was dispatched to a report of a fight with weapon at 2355 West Capitol Ave. in the City of West Sacramento. When they arrived on scene and contacted the reporting party, the reporting party stated that the suspect and female almost hit her and her sister when they were crossing the road. The suspect then drove by the victim’s residence in a silver car displaying a gun out the window. The victim stated she was in fear for her life and called police. The officer located the suspect and female nearby in the same vehicle. An in-field show up was performed and the suspect was positively identified. The suspect was arrested. The vehicle was searched and an imitation firearm was located. The suspect was read his rights and he stated that he did drive by the victim’s residence but did not display the gun. The suspect was transported and later booked into Yolo County Jail.


Convicted Felon Possessing Ammunition

Friday, October 23rd at 6:39 p.m.

2895 Industrial Blvd.

The suspect, a convicted felon, was contacted and found to be in possession of rifle ammunition. He was cited and released.
