Public Health & Wellness Fair

The community is invited to the annual Public Health & Wellness Fair on Wednesday, April 6th from noon to 3 p.m. This free, family-friendly event includes car seat inspections and old car seat recycling, bike safety and skills activities, health check screenings (blood pressure, BMI (body mass index), cholesterol), sidewalk CPR activities, healthy food samples, Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) and MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccines, and much more.

The fair is in celebration of National Public Health Week, April 4th through10th, and is sponsored by the Yolo County Health & Human Services Agency Community Health Branch.

The Public Health & Wellness Fair will be held in the parking lot on the southeast corner of Beamer and Cottonwood streets in Woodland. In the event of rain, the fair will be moved across the street to Norton Hall at 70 Cottonwood Street.

Residents are encouraged to walk, bike or stroll to the fair. Those who bike will have access to VIP bike parking and a small prize. For more information, visit www.yolohealth.org.
