Yolo County's Rapid Response Layoff Assistance Webinar Series Extended

WOODLAND, CA (MPG) – Yolo County will continue to host webinars to connect residents to the valuable resources available to COVID-19 impacted workers through June 21, 2021. The webinar series, hosted by the Yolo County Workforce Innovation Board, Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and YoloWorks! Rapid Response Team, will offer information and assist in connecting residents to resources in both English and Spanish. Businesses considering work stoppages, layoffs or furloughs and residents whose employment has been affected by COVID-19 are encouraged to attend.
Webinars will be offered monthly on the second and fourth Mondays at 10:00 am starting February 8 through June 21; the fourth Monday session every month will be offered in English and Spanish. EDD Workforce Services, YoloWorks! and partners, will go over Unemployment Insurance, health care options and other resources to assisted individuals impacted by layoffs through this pandemic and will take your questions.
