Area Schools Host Clinics Due to Strong Demand for Adolescent COVID- 19 Vaccinations
Healthy Davis Together and CommuniCare Health Centers are collaborating with the Washington Unified School District to expand COVID-19 vaccine access in West Sacramento, particularly for students 12 and older, through pop-up clinics at district schools. Select pop-up clinics will be open to the public for walk-in appointments.
Healthy Davis Together and CommuniCare Health Centers have also expanded the hours for walk-in vaccination at the West Sacramento City Hall COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic and its Woodland Community College location. The clinic will now offer walk-in vaccinations for people 12 years and older during all operating hours. Appointments are encouraged but not required and can be scheduled at www.healthydavistogether.org.
All COVID-19 vaccines are free for everyone, no matter their immigration status and no matter whether they have medical insurance.
