WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - On March 3, 2022, at approximately 8:00 A.M. West Sacramento Police and Fire responded to a call of a two-vehicle accident on West Capitol Ave and Cedar.

EMS arrived to find a collision involving a pickup and a motorcycle. West Sacramento resident, 30-year-old, John Valez was driving the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision. The driver of the pick-up stayed at the scene and was cooperative. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
