WSPD Seeks Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Attempted Burglary

WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - On Sunday, March 27, of 2022, at approximately 1:40 am there was a report of an attempted Residential Burglary in the 800 block of River Crest Drive, West Sacramento.

The West Sacramento Police Department’s Investigations and Special Investigations Divisions are actively working the case and are requesting the Public’s assistance in identifying the suspect observed on video surveillance.

The suspect appears to be a White, Male, Adult, approximately 5’10—6’02” tall, 200+ pounds, wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt with a Mineshaft Saloon, Nevada City logo on the front and back. The suspect is wearing dark baggy pants and black and white Converse shoes and has a dark colored facemask with what appears to be a Kansas City Chief’s logo on both sides. He is seen carrying a baseball bat and rope. The suspect broke a window out at a residence but did not gain entry.
