WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Save the date! The Yolo County Office of Education (YCOE) will be hosting the annual African American Student Leadership Conference on Tuesday, May 17th from 9 am to 1:30 pm.  

This year’s conference will be held in person at Woodland Community College. The theme for this year’s event is, “See Your Future Through Your Past”.  Workshops will be held on cultural pride and perseverance, career and college and student leadership in action. 

YCOE is excited to offer this event again in person and welcomes all students in grades 8-12 to attend.  Lunch will be provided and transportation and chaperones are the responsibility of the respective districts.
