WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Although the horses were left to stay dry in their stalls, the rain on December 3, 2022, didn’t stop West Sacramento Trail Riders Association (WSTRA) members from delivering toys to the firemen of West Sacramento’s Fire Station Number 45 for the club’s annual ‘Trot for Tots’ toy drive.

Mr. Dave Wyatt, WSTRA’s president, and several other association members were greeted by West Sacramento firemen who accepted the toy donations collected.

WSTRA would like to thank our community, Wild West Feed, Lenise’s Cafe, and the Starbucks near Lake Washington Boulevard for all of their support and the wonderful toy donations for the event!

These new toys are destined to be distributed in the West Sacramento community during the 2022 Holiday Season.  WSTRA has been supporting this annual toy drive with our community and donating toys for the last 12 years.

WSTRA promotes education and recreational opportunities for people interested in the preservation and protection of open space for trail corridors for equestrian use in Yolo County.
