Free COVID-19 Test Vending Machine
The COVID-19 rapid test kit vending machine has been relocated from behind City Hall to the Community Center across the street, at 1075 West Capitol Ave.
These are home antigen test kits and they are FREE through a partnership with the Yolo County Health & Human Services Agency. Please only take what you need.
There are also limited free home test kits available at Yolo County libraries including the Arthur F. Turner Library in West Sacramento.
Steps to College 2023
Steps to College 2023 is the largest bilingual and binational university fair in Northern California, taking place on Saturday, February 4th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The fair is a joint project of the Consulate General of Mexico in Sacramento, the California Student Aid Commission, the Cien Amigos advocacy group, and the Mexican Cultural Center of Northern California, as well as public and private institutions.
Representatives from distinguished colleges and universities from California and Mexico, State of California higher education experts, and nonprofit higher education organizations and advocates work together each year to help students navigate the college experience and learn about their financial options for higher education.

Open Enrollment for UTK, Kindergarten & Preschool
SAVE THE DATE! Online registration opened on January 11, 2023, for Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK), Kindergarten, and Preschool for the 2023-2024 school year.
In-Person Assistance Days will be available at the District Office, 930 Westacre Rd., on Saturday, January 21, 9 am-12 pm and Wednesday, February 22, 4:30-7 pm, and at the Bryte Cafe, 637 Todhunter Ave., on Saturday, February 4, 9 am-12 pm.
Eligibility:
Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK): 5th birthday falls on or between September 2, 2023, to April 2, 2024.
Kindergarten: 5th birthday falls on or before Sept. 1, 2023.
Preschool: 3rd or 4th birthday falls on or before Dec.1st, 2023.
Required Documents:
Birth Certificate, Immunization Record, and Proof of Address (Utility bill, mortgage statement, rental agreement)
Before + After School Care:

RCHS Culinary Students to Host Pancake Breakfast
Join the FFA and Culinary students at the former Bryte Elementary School in raising funds for their Spring Leadership Events on Saturday, February 11th. Students will be cooking, serving, and entertaining guests! The breakfast goes from 8:30 am to 12 pm.
