Yolo County Offers Unemployment Do’s and Don'ts Webinar for Employers

WOODLAND, CA (MPG) – YoloWorks!, the Yolo County Workforce Innovation Board, and the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency have collaborated with the California Employers Association to offer a series of free informational webinars for businesses in Yolo County. The second webinar in the series, titled “Unemployment Do’s & Don’ts”, will be held virtually on February 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This webinar will specifically address crucial topics relevant to employers dealing with unemployment. Yolo County employers interested in participating can register online at or visit for more information.

Attendees will learn how to successfully navigate unemployment claims and:

-How to decide if you should dispute a claim or not

-What information should you include when responding to a claim

-How to prepare for an unemployment hearing

-The values of witnesses and witness statements
