Mar 19, 2024 12:47PM ● By Yolo County News ReleaseWOODLAND, CA (MPG) - The Yolo County Department of Community Services’ Public Works Division will replace striping along Old River Road, about one-half mile east and west of the County Road 124 intersection, located about five miles east of Woodland. Yolo County’s contractor is scheduled to undertake this project from March 21 through March 23, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., depending upon the weather.
Motorists should anticipate intermittent lane closures and possible delays during this period. It is recommended to consider alternative routes or adjust speed accordingly. Adhere to all construction signs and directions from flaggers when navigating through the work zone. Local access to properties and businesses along affected road sections will be maintained throughout the construction process.
This effort will improve the clarity of road striping in an area of Old River Road that has curves, driveway entrances, a railroad crossing and transitions from the top of the Sacramento River levee. Residents are encouraged to stay informed throughout this process by utilizing resources such as Yolo County’s Road Closures Map, available at www.YoloCounty.org/Road-Closures or by contacting the Department of Community Services at 530-666-8811 for any inquiries or assistance.
