Elections Office to Process and Count Vote-by-Mail Ballots

YOLO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - The Yolo County Elections Office began the processing and counting of vote-by-mail ballots for the Nov. 5 General Election on Friday, Oct. 11. The totaling and posting of election results will begin after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The Elections Office will continue to process and count vote-by-mail ballots during regular business hours at the Yolo County Elections Office (625 Court St., Suite B-05, Woodland), including after business hours on Election Day (until 8 p.m. on Nov. 5). For the most up to date daily times, contact the Elections Office at 530-666-8133.

“The processing and counting of vote-by-mail ballots is open to the public and we welcome anyone who is interested in observing,” said Jesse Salinas, Yolo County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters. “Transparency is the cornerstone of our democratic process. We are committed to ensuring that all voters can see and understand all of our processes.”
