WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The Yolo Community Foundation has announced that the West Sacramento Foundation Grant is now open.
The West Sacramento Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the West Sacramento community by supporting local nonprofit organizations that make a direct impact on the lives of West Sacramento residents.
Through annual grantmaking, the fund will invest in projects that build connections, enrich quality of life and address the needs of our diverse community. Since its founding in 1988, the West Sacramento Foundation has provided hundreds of small grants to local nonprofit organizations, helped launch and sustain community programs that might otherwise lack support and fostered collaboration across organizations to maximize impact.
The West Sacramento Foundation exists to support small but meaningful community projects that improve the quality of life for West Sacramento residents. These smaller grants range from $500 to $2,000 and make a powerful difference by fueling projects that connect neighbors, lift up youth, celebrate culture and strengthen the shared community.
To be eligible to apply, the organization must be a registered 501c(3) nonprofit organization and the funds must be used to directly support West Sacramento residents.
Applications are being accepted now until Oct. 31. The committee will review all applications and decisions will be made by the first week of December.
