WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The West Sacramento Fire Department and the West Sacramento Firefighter’s Association are gearing up for the annual Santa Run, bringing holiday cheer to neighborhoods across the city.

With help from off-duty firefighter “elves,” Santa will ride aboard a decorated fire-engine “sleigh,” handing out candy canes donated by the West Sacramento Firefighter’s Association. A following pickup truck will collect canned food donations for local families in need.

The Santa Run will take place over six nights, beginning at 6 p.m., with schedules subject to change due to weather conditions. Updates, cancellations, or rescheduling notices will be posted one hour before each run on the West Sacramento Fire Department’s Instagram and Facebook pages.

The 2025 Santa Run Schedule is as follows.

On Monday, Dec. 8, Santa and his sleigh will ride through Old West Sacramento: 10th Street, 11th Street, 13th Street, 15th Street, 17th Street, Alabama Avenue, Clarendon Sreet, Deerwood Street, Delaware Avenue, Euclid Street, Fallbrook Street, Gardenia Avenue, Grande Vista Avenue, Haverhill Street, Lakewood Drive, Maryland Avenue, Meadow Road, Norfolk Avenue, Park Boulevard, Pennsylvania Avenue, Regent Street, Sonora Boulevard, Stone Boulevard, Virginia Avenue and Webster Street.

On Tuesday, Dec. 9, Santa will ride through North Business 80: Buckeye Drive, Chapparal Way, Doran Avenue, Evergreen Avenue, Garnet Street, Greenmeadow Avenue, Holly Street, Laurel Lane, Lilac Lane, Madrone Avenue, Manzantia Way, Maple Street, Marigold Street, Michigan Boulevard, Palomar Avenue, Pine Street, Poplar Avenue, Rockyrose Road, Sycamore Avenue, Walnut Street and Westacre Road.

On Wednesday, Dec. 10, find Santa along Broderick and Bryte: 6th Street, Andrew Street, Anna Street, Bryte Avenue, Carrie Street, Cummins Way, Douglas Street, Fourness Drive, Fremont Boulevard, Hardy Drive, Hobson Avenue, Kegle Drive, Lisbon Avenue and North Hobson Avenue.

On Thursday, Dec. 11, Santa will ride along Southport South West: Allan Avenue, Betty Way, Brenda Way, Canvasback Way, Constitution Avenue, Diane Drive, Duet Drive, Higgins Road, Independence Avenue, Jacquelyn Lane, Janet Drive, Kathy Circle, Lagoon Lane, Lesie Lane, Linden Road, Mareca Way, Meadowlark Circle, Paradise Way, Pheasant Hollow Drive, Pitzer Circle, Sandpiper Lane, Shirley Street, Starling Lane, Summerfield Drive, Teal Drive and Violet Drive.

On Friday, Dec. 12, greet Santa along Southport North East: Alder Way, Almond Street, Aster Avenue, Chinook Road, Gateway Drive, Geary Street, Hearst Street, Ironwood Way, Kinsington Street, Lemontree Road, Limewood Road, Linden Road, Manchester Street, Merced Way, Mojave Drive, Monte Vista Street, North Beach Avenue, Peachtree Street, Peppertree Road, Randolph Road, Redwood Avenue, Rubicon Way, Sansome Street, Santiam Street, Sausalito Road, Spruce Way, Stonegate Drive and Union Square Road.
