DAVIS, CA (MPG) – The 8th Annual “Music for Natalie” concert will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at the G Street Plaza. The Davis Odd Fellows sponsor the free community event to remember and celebrate the memory and spirit of fallen Davis Police Officer Natalie Corona.

After Officer Corona's death in 2019, the Odd Fellows started a scholarship program in her name and have held an annual free music event for the community. “Music for Natalie” will be held at G Street Plaza for the first time. Bands this year include Misner & Smith, Julie and the Jukes, and the Natalie Cortez Band. The event will also include food and beverage vendors and a beer garden.

The goal of the scholarship program is to provide assistance to high school students in Davis, CA and Arbuckle, CA who are pursuing a career in law enforcement, criminal justice, or as a first responder and to honor Corona’s ideals of excellence and service. The application period for 2026 closed April 1.

An endowment fund has been created to fund the scholarship annually. The Odd Fellows’ goal is make the endowment fund self-sustaining to enable the scholarship program to continue in perpetuity. Davis Odd Fellows Helping Hands, Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation, will accept donations and manages the endowment fund.
