DAVIS, CA (MPG) – Court Commissioner and Yolo County Judicial Candidate Ryan Davis is proud to announce over 50 endorsements from current and retired distinguished members of the California Judiciary, signaling confidence from those who best understand the responsibilities, demands and standards of the judicial role.
These 50-plus judicial officials join a host of local elected officials including Congressman Mike Thompson, the Mayors of Davis, West Sacramento, Winters, and Woodland, four County Supervisors and dozens more.
Among those endorsing Davis is Samuel McAdam, current Judge of the Yolo County Superior Court.
“Ryan Davis has A+ credentials and is a proven leader both statewide and locally. He has established himself as a fair, independent, agenda-free judicial officer. I also personally admire his commitment to public service and his good temperament and humility,” Judge McAdam said. “Ryan will make a terrific addition to the Yolo Superior Court bench.”
Former Yolo County Presiding Judge Dave Rosenberg also endorses Davis, emphasizing the importance of experience on the bench.
“Judicial elections are not about politics: they are about who is prepared to administer justice fairly from day one,” Rosenberg said. “Ryan has the background, the temperament, and the integrity necessary to serve the people of Yolo County with distinction. He has earned the confidence of those who know the job best.”
Davis currently serves as a Court Commissioner, where he presides over family law cases. His career in public service, including work as a Deputy State Public Defender and Deputy Attorney General, has provided Ryan with broad experience in both criminal and civil law, as well as a deep understanding of the real-world impact of judicial decisions.
“I am deeply honored to receive the support of so many fellow judicial officers, judges who have devoted their careers to fairness and justice,” Davis said. “Their endorsement reflects a shared commitment to an independent judiciary and to equitable, dignified, and respectful treatment for every person who enters the courtroom.”
Davis also has strong ties to the community. He attended Davis public schools, where he met his wife who teaches at Patwin Elementary, and both his daughters attend Davis public schools. With strong backing from respected members of the bench and community support across the county, Davis is excited to continue to talk with voters around a clear message: experienced, impartial leadership that will uphold the integrity of Yolo County’s courts.
