WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - River City High School proudly recognized five outstanding senior student-athletes who have committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level following graduation. National Signing Day marked a meaningful milestone for these athletes, their families and the River City community, highlighting years of dedication, perseverance and competitive excellence.
Leading the group is Brianna Gough, who will take her talents to Rice University as a swimmer. A four-year varsity swimmer, Brianna leaves River City as one of the most accomplished swimmers in school history, having set school records in every individual event and finishing among the top ten swimmers at the state level in 2025 in the 100- and 200-yard freestyle. Known for her discipline in and out of the pool, her commitment reflects both exceptional academic achievement and elite athletic drive.
Paige Moyneur will continue her volleyball career at San Francisco State University. A four-year varsity player, all-league selection each season and the 2025 League MVP, Paige has been a cornerstone of River City’s volleyball program. Her leadership, consistency and strong work ethic have defined her impact on and off the court.
In water polo, Reagan Eisberg has signed with Saint Mary’s College of California, continuing a historic athletic journey at the collegiate level. A two-time League MVP, back-to-back national scoring champion and leader of three consecutive league championship teams, Eisberg graduates as River City’s all-time leader in goals and steals. Her competitive intensity, leadership in the pool and consistent high-level performance have made her a defining figure in the school’s aquatics program.
On the gridiron, Matthew Geivett has committed to Carleton College, where he will compete in football while pursuing his academic goals. As one of the most prolific kickers in Raider history, his signing reflects his toughness, discipline and ability to successfully balance high-level athletics with academic excellence.
Rounding out the group is Austin Porter, who will compete in cross country at California Lutheran University. Porter’s endurance, discipline and relentless drive to improve have characterized his time in the program and prepared him well for success at the next level.
