WOODLAND, CA (MPG) - The Yolo Community Foundation (YCF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Micaela Cirimeli as its new Fund Development Manager. Cirimeli brings a decade of nonprofit experience and a proven record of building donor relationships and growing revenue to this newly created role.

In her new position, Cirimeli will lead YCF’s fund development function, including building a robust major donor program, strengthening corporate partnerships and overseeing the organization’s annual giving campaigns—including the Big Day of Giving and the year-end appeal. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Micaela to the YCF team,” said Executive Director of the Yolo Community Foundation, Stacie Frerichs. “Her deep expertise in donor cultivation, her passion for community impact and her entrepreneurial approach to fundraising make her an ideal leader for this role. We look forward to the relationships she will build and the growth she will bring to our philanthropic programs.”

Cirimeli comes to YCF from Sacramento Children’s Home, where she served as Development Coordinator and helped advance a collaborative fundraising strategy generating more than $3.4 million annually. During her tenure, she expanded the organization’s recurring gift program, achieving 9% year-over-year revenue growth. Previously, she held development roles at the Sacramento Zoological Society, where she stewarded high-level donors and managed annual giving campaigns.

Cirimeli is also a recognized innovator in the philanthropic sector, earning second place in the Sacramento Venture Philanthropy Fast Pitch Social Innovation Program in November 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Art from the University of California, Davis.
