SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG)– The Sacramento History Museum is getting all dolled up for a Red, White & Vintage Fashion Show: An Afternoon of Classic Glamour on Sunday, July 26, from 2 to 5 p.m. The fun, flirty and fashionable event will feature a unique fashion show of 100 years of vintage fashions from 1880s to the 1980s, plus a variety of unique vendors, a silent auction with vintage accessories along with sweet treats and tea beverages while surrounded by vintage charm and classic glamour.

Benefiting the Sacramento History Museum, this is a must-attend afternoon of elegance for vintage fashion lovers, history buffs and anyone who appreciates timeless style and unforgettable moments.
 
Local vintage fashion influencer and TV thrift host Phoebe Verkouw (@thedressfiend) will welcome event attendees and introduce Rhonda Barrett who will narrate the show filled with iconic fashions from her collection. Some of the more extraordinary fashions will include and 1940s wedding gown made from a parachute and a stewardess outfit from the 1960s. Guests will also enjoy a delightful afternoon featuring a selection of iced teas, sweet and savory bites, unique vendors and a silent auction of vintage accessories and treasures.
 
Event highlights include an enjoyable journey through the decades with timeless style and elegance with a vintage fashion show. A silent auction with the opportunity to bid on beautiful vintage accessories and curated treasures. Vintage charms and local vendors including unique goods and vintage-inspired finds from artisan vendors. And be prepared to tempt your palate with refreshing iced teas alongside sweet and savory treats.

To accommodate the special event, the museum will be closed to the public on Sunday, July 26, and Underground Tours will be paused for the day. Normal tour operations and museum opening hours – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — will resume on Monday.
