Elections Office to Begin Accepting Vote-by-Mail Ballots for Presidential Primary Election

YOLO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - The Yolo County Elections Office completed a successful logic and accuracy testing of the voting equipment on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Starting Monday, February 12, 2024, the Elections Office will begin to process Vote-by-Mail ballot return identification envelopes for the March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election.

Beginning on Monday, February 5, all active registered voters in Yolo County were mailed a Vote-by-Mail ballot. All active registered voters in Yolo County can expect their ballot to arrive in their mailbox by Monday, February 12, 2024. If your ballot has not arrived by Tuesday, February 13, 2024, please contact the Yolo County Elections Office.

Voters are encouraged to sign-up for vote-by-mail ballot tracking at WheresMyBallot.sos.ca.gov. Those who sign-up will receive automated notifications about their vote-by-mail ballots by email, text, or voice call.

The Elections Office will continue to process and accept vote by mail ballots during regular business hours, and, if needed, after business hours and weekends. For the most up to date daily times for return identification envelope processing, please contact the elections office at (530) 666-8133. Return identification envelope processing will occur at the Yolo County Elections Office, 625 Court St., Suite B-05, Woodland.
