YOLO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Brett Pedroia of Valley Tire, Woodland recently presented a check to Yolo County Sheriff STARS (Sheriff’s Team of Active Retired Seniors). STARS is a non-profit volunteer group who assist the Sheriff’s Office with a variety of community services such as community events, vacation home checks, vehicle maintenance, farm equipment stamping, etc. This donation will allow STARS to purchase a computer software program to identify service projects, organize work schedules and log hours worked.
